The U.N.I.T.Y. Project outlines the life and career of two successful African American women: singer and actress, Queen Latifah and graphic designer, Dorothy Hayes. The theme of the U.N.I.T.Y. poster is inspired by Queen Latifah's song, "U.N.I.T.Y." and the design style is a tribute to the style Dorothy Hayes used in her design work. The reversible nature of the poster expresses a desire for unity between men and women to end the sexual harassment addressed in Latifah's song.
